Off Season Care of Your Glove.
Share
Many players take winter off, or focus on skill development a few times a week.
While the winter is a great time to continue to improve and upgrade your game, it is also a great time to upgrade your equipment.
Your Tigress softball glove has served you well all summer and fall, and now is not the time to ignore it. Months of play, sweat, dirt and weather, will contribute to the degradation of the leather. Your glove is drying out and chances are it has stretched a little too.
A light cleaning with a damp cloth or mild leather soap would be perfect to start your maintenance program. Snug up your loose lacing, or have your glove completely relaced if you want. This is a small investment to the quality and performance of your glove.
Use a leather conditioner, such as Tigress Glove Balm, to restore the condition of your leather. It will make a huge difference and only takes a few minutes to do.
Wrap a ball in your glove when storing, or use the Tigress Pocket Saver, to ensure your glove maintains the shape and performance level you have come to love.
Your glove is an important tool to your game. Work on it just as you do every other part of your game. It will all pay off when spring gets here!
